Deciding on your keywords and optimising your website is a task all businesses need to complete in their online marketing strategy. A. It's ideal but not necessary.  If  your budget allows for you to track all of the keywords we identify in the keyword research then this will give you the advantage of being able to see exactly how you are ranking for every potentially profitable keyword we have identified plus opportunities for further optimisation and content targeting. 

For example we may identify 50 targeted keywords that can be used to optimise your website. Typically we suggest choosing a primary keyword and related secondary keyword per page of your website. So 25 pages require 50 keywords.  If you only have budget to track 25 of the 50 keywords in the Digital Dashboard then we would recommend selecting the top 25 keywords based on our recommended top picks. You'll still end up using the 50 keywords identified but may not feel the need to track the performance of every one. 

A. Once your keywords have been selected and your dashboard setup you can get started by optimising the current pages of your website. We have some keyword optimisation tips in our Top 9 SEO tips for Keyword Placement blog post. In addition you can also undertake a number of other SEO strategies. If you aren’t too sure what to do, simply let us know and we can arrange for a consultation or ongoing training plan for you.

A. To decide on the keywords to track we suggest you complete some thorough keyword research to determine which words are the most commercially viable and will bring money into your business. If you are unsure about how to complete keyword research simply fill out our keyword research form and we will do the heavy lifting for you.

A. Yes, during the 12 month period you can adjust the words that are being tracked. You are able to bring focus words to the top of the list, you can delete words that you no longer want to track and swap them out with new words that you do want to track. At the moment our software does not allow you to do this as your user account however we will happily make this change for you up to 6 times within your 12 months. After this if you would like to make changes please discuss this matter with us.

A. The keywords that the tool uses are fixed terms that are decided upon before the tool setup. For this reason we recommend that you provide terms that have been correctly researched and determined for you. If you have already had keyword research completed you can supply these terms to us. If not we are able to help out and provide a keyword research service for you if you would like.
