What is the program going to cover?
The workshop will cover the basics of online marketing including key elements a website should have, how to optimise your site for search engines, tips to write content for the web and introduce you to how to efficiently promote your business on TripAdvisor. The online training program will have 3 levels and will cover approximately 12 units each. You can view the full program description here.
How can I access the online training?
First you need to register using the "Register for the Program" section below. This will give you access to the introductory workshop and the online training (due to start after the workshop). If you cannot make it to the workshop you will still be able to have access to the 5 months of online training.
Who developed the online tutorials?
The UntangleMyWeb.com team has developed the workshop content and online tutorials which include theory, practice, worksheets and training videos. Fabie, our co-director, was one of the main contractors on the tourism ekit and trains over 1,000 tourism operators a year.
Is UntangleMyWeb.com a reputable company?

We are Australian owned by our 2 directors, Fabienne Wintle and Adam Wallace and our office is based in Brisbane. We have been operating for 3 years and currently have 10 staff.
Can I attend if I am not a tourism operator?
UntangleMyWeb.com was granted AusIndustry money as part of the Small Business Online program and our application was directed at the tourism industry. Priority is however given to operators but we welcome all home based and small business owners and employees as long as seats are available.
What if I can't make it to the workshop, can I still access the online training?
Yes! We are filming the Brisbane workshop and video will be made available to all registered businesses so if you miss the workshop you can still watch the footage and have all the info required to start the training program.
Can I pay via cheque, direct deposit or on the day?
Unfortunately not. All payments need to be made into our PayPal account as this is the method we chose to make it simple and fast to report on the numbers to AusIndustry.
Why do you need to know my ANZIC code?
AusIndustry will use this to report on the uptake on the program and what type of businesses have attended.
Why is it so cheap?
This is a government-funded initiative and we were lucky to receive approximately $250,000 to make this training available to operators in Queensland.
What is the Small Business Online program?

The program will consist of two stages:
- The first stage is a face to face workshop covering the basics of e-marketing.
- The second stage is a five (5) month online training program through our online learning management system, “My Web School”.
