A. If only it was that easy! Unfortunately just creating a new website does not mean you will appear number 1 in Google search results.

To improve your Google position you also need to engage in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and online business optimisation. These services range from inbound link building, customisation and optimisation of Meta Titles and Meta Descriptions through to local search listings, Google Local Business Centre optimisation and even Google Analytics Reviews.

A. This is a bit tricky and the ease of it all depends on whether you have a Content Management System (CMS) in place. If you do have a CMS you should be able to update information reasonably quickly with not too much fuss (providing your web developer has shared the login with you and you have been given some basic training).
If you don't have one, things can be a bit more difficult and we do recommend that you upgrade as soon as you can to a site with a content management system. Not only do they make it easier to update new content, but a good one should also show you the content in 'display mode' before it goes live.

As with everything in life it takes some practice to be able to spot a good CMS, particularly one that is continuously developed and isn't going to cost you an arm and a leg... that's why we use and recommendDotNetNuke for all of our clients.

A. Here at UntangleMyMeb we believe it is important that you (the client) know and understand how to update the content on your site. Of course you may want us to make some changes for you, add more functionality and even give you updates from time to time but we want to teach you how to 'own and operate' your website. We understand how frustrating it can be when you request an update and it doesn't happen for weeks. We even understand how annoying it is when you find an incorrect date or some bad spelling on your site, that's why we use a CMS and teach you how to update it yourself!

A. We understand that our websites can appear to be pricey for some businesses and that's why we offer a number of different service levels for each of our clients. We use tried and tested technology to ensure that what we provide you is the most up to date flexible technology on the net. Along with the best technology we provide long term support and training services. Remember our aim is to educate you to help you be successful online; we don't succeed unless you succeed. During the build process of your project our whole team spends time developing your web strategy ensuring it is one step above the rest. Our project management team ensures your project runs smoothly and you are never left in the dark. As part of what we do you can be involved in as little or as much of the project as you like. For those that are willing to invest their own time into the project it is likely that costs will be lower.

A. Yes there is! As long as you are signed up for any of the above we can integrate them into your site. We have twitter modules that allow you to link your feed through your site. We can include a module that allows you to have your facebook feed and followers on your website. You can even show YouTube videos on your site without re-directing to a different page. Make sure you let us know when you sign up to your development project and we will include it all.

A. Sure, we can conduct a comprehensive detailed review of your website that includes information on Meta Descriptions and Titles, Content format, Image alt tags and usage, Hyper-linking, Social Media, Newsletters, Google Analytics, Inbound links, your online competitors and more. Our reviews are generally between 15 and 20 pages long and will provide you with a list of recommendations. Check out the Website Reviews page for more information and to request one now!

Q. Yes. We offer hosting services that have been specifically created for DNN websites (we can host other websites as well) so your website is safe online. Our prices range from $35 - $45 per month depending on the size of your website.
Our servers are based in Adelaide, but don't let that scare you away, they are never down and the only time repairs are done is in the middle of the night when we are all asleep.

A. Unless you have special circumstances we generally do not take on DNN websites that another developer has created. As we only offer top of the range brand new websites and modules we do not like running the risk of working with older style systems and others handiwork. If you want to transfer your old website to us before beginning a new development project with us, this is fine, however contracting us to do fix's alone may not be welcomed.

A. Your physical location has no effect on our ability to develop a great website for you. We use online collaboration tools to communicate throughout your project rather than having multiple facet to face meetings. As long as you have access to a computer and the internet and can send us through some great pictures of your products your location will not inhibit your project in any way.

A. Yes! Our in house copywriters can write your copy for you. We will of course need you to supply some information about your products and services, you are after all the expert on your business.

A. In short, No.

We only make websites in DotNetNuke, if you want to do some more research on the DNN CMS have a look at the main DotNetNuke website or simply Google DotNetNuke.
We do not work with Dreamweaver due to its inabilities and lack of SEO services.

A. Our Smart Tourism Website will be delivered overnight, within 48hours of your purchase. If you request additional products this may take longer however this will be outlined to you when you make the purchase.

Our Traditional UMW Websites can take between 30-60 working days after we receive 40% of your content (or content notes if we are doing the copywriting for you). We generally find the project length varies on the clients input, if you are willing to put in some work during the development it is likely that build time will be shorter and costs will be lower. We will give you an official timeframe with our quote.

A. Your standard 2 hours of training can be delivered one of three ways

  • Online
  • Via a Screen Sharing session
  • Face to face in our office

Of course not all clients are available for in person training and some people want to learn at their own pace so we offer the three options. All clients have access to our suite of online training videos to view anywhere at any time.

A. Definitely! That's the joy of a CMS, we use friendly modules that look familiar to commonly used programs like word to edit your content. Once it is up and running you can edit your site at any time.

A. Sure, we can use your design (or design ideas) to create your website as long as it is designed in a module friendly way. If it's not we may need to make some small changes however we will stick to your original design as much as possible.

A. All of our websites have the ability to change designs when ever you would like. We now offer our new low cost website to allow clients to start with a high quality tourism website in a specially designed template format.
